Rockstar recently updated the PC versions of L.A Noire and Max Payne 3 in a surprise update that made all the DLC added for free. Both games have lost support for 32-bit operating systems, but the DLC more than makes up for that. These changes don’t apply to the “VR Case Files” version of L.A Noire.
The updates were quietly published on the 19th of April, so don’t delay updating the games. This was also the day when Rockstar managed to delist every game from Steam before putting them back up. In an amazing twist, the company even messed that up as Midnight Club 2 became accessible again for the first time in three years – for a short time at least.
L.A Noire was released in 2011 and Max Payne was released in 2012. It’s unclear why the company decided to update the games after ten years, but who is going to complain about free DLC?
